At Kettlewell&Edwards we take the "custom" in custom framing to heart. Whether you have a souvenir stick from your 46th Adirondack peak, a museum quality painting, or just need a readymade for a family photo, you get the same professional expertise in our owner-operated shop. Chloe Kettlewell and Kate Edwards not only have almost 35 years combined experience in Custom Framing, they are both exhibiting artists and have a strong background in the knowledge and handling of all types of artwork. At Kettlewell&Edwards we sell fine original artwork by local artists, offer hanging services and work with artists, designers, and businesses on large jobs of multiple pieces. Whatever your framing needs we will work with you to accommodate your ideas and budget.
This mat is inspired by the Yankees uniform with navy blue pinstripes. It is created by adhering white mat board strips, cut with a beveled edge, to a navy board. A little math was necessary to create even spacing but the Wizard (our computerized mat cutter) made cutting it relatively easy. See more examples here.
